• Pandavas became favourite of all the resident of Hastinapur because of their helpful nature & urge to bring prosperity to Hastinapur.
• All knew, Pandavas going to take the control of the Hastinapur’s crown.

• Duryodhana and Kauravas were not happy with this.
• It pained to king Dhritrashtra that, soon he has to handle the crown to his nephew but not his son.

• Somewhere inside the heart, dhritrashtra knew that Yudhishthira is the most eligible for the crown. He was most righteous & wisest among all kuru brothers.
• Bhishma was also urging to Dhritrashtra, to hand over the crown to Yudhishthira as soon as possible.
• MAHABHARATA Day 7 | Episode 7 – Dronacharya gives a tough task

• One day Akrura, a closed associate of Krishna visited Hastinapur.
• Spoke with dhritrashtra that – Oh King, now it’s time to handover the reigns of the Hastinapur to the son of Pandu, Yudhishthira.

• He further said – Remember, Pandavas are the son of kunti. They get the support from their cousin Lord Krishna & entire Yadav family. after this discussion, considering the welfare of the kingdom, Dhritrashtra decided that, he will crown Yudhishthira ahead of his son Duryodhana.

• Finally dhritrashtra awards his crown to yudhishthira. Duryodhana gets extremely angry at dhritrashtra. He says, father you were the rightful owner of the crown.
• You should have awarded me the crown ahead of Yudhishthira.

• Dhritrashtra explains him, why he chose Yudhishthira ahead of him.
• “Pandavas were the favourites of citizens of Hastinapur & they had the support of Lord Krishna alongwith powerful Yadava family, so he had no choice.”

• Duryodhana replies, Father, the way things are going in our Kingdom, soon we Kauravas will not have any kind of existence in hastinapur.
• MAHABHARATA Day 6 | Episode 6 – War is real

• Dhritrashtra replies him – Remember, Yudhishthira is not the king yet, he is just a crowned Prince. Duryodhana with deceitful smile on his face, leaves the chamber of Dhritrashtra.

• From here, he with his brother Dushasana goes to meet there uncle Shakuni. Shakuni was used to be known as the cold mind for evil ideas.

• Duryodhana speaks to him – Uncle I can’t see the domination of Pandavas like this.
• I can’t just seat idle looking at this & feeling extremely humiliated.

• Shakuni says – After yudhishthira gets crowned, we will send them for a nice warm vacation away from Hastinapur.
• Meanwhile you should focus on earning the trust of the Hastinapur’s people.

• Duryodhana replies, “What when they come back from the vacations? Won’t they again claim their crown?” Shakuni replies with evil smile- “What if some kind of accident happens with our beloved Pandavas.
• People can’t blame you for that, hahaha”

• Duryodhana’s eyes lit up hearing this. He continued the discussion with Shakuni to finalize this extremely evil plan.
• MAHABHARATA Day 5 | Episode 5 – The Dronacharya entry

• Meanwhile dhritrashtra was suffering through a dilemma.
• He was sad, by not awarding crown to his son. Dhritrashtra called is trusted advisor spoke to him about this.

• Advisor was very sharp and shrewd politician. He explained dhritrashtra, all the control is in your hand. Do what is right for your clan & take the benifits of privilege you have.
• MAHABHARATA Day 4 | Episode 4 – The Beginning of Pandavas vs Kauravas

• He further explained, One who wants to become rich & powerful should be kind by outerior but sharp & cruel by heart. So do, what suits your son.

• Soon duryodhana came to meet dhritrashtra. He asked his father dhritrashtra, to send all the Pandavas to the city of Varanavatam for the vacation.
• Dhritrashtra identified the evil mind of Duryodhana but still he agreed.
